Beth LaGrange is a licensed clinical psychologist, qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor, and certified mindfulness meditation teacher. For over a decade, she worked as a clinical supervisor at the largest correctional facility on Rikers Island. At Rikers, she developed and led mindfulness and self-care trainings for inmates, mental health staff, and officers.
Dr. LaGrange has worked with the New York State Master Teacher Program, providing an assortment of day-long and multi-week trainings on topics such as mindfulness in the classroom, resilience, and motivational interviewing.
In her private practice, Dr. LaGrange specializes in applying mindfulness practices to facilitate habit change, address anxiety and/or burnout, and help clients optimize their sense of wellbeing and health.
